As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Finance & Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations while ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise in US accounting standards, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance will be crucial for success in this role. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring adherence to US GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.• Leading multi-GAAP reconciliations such as Indian GAAP to US GAAP.• Driving implementation and compliance of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.• Managing end-to-end AP/AR processes for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.• Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles in line with US reporting timelines.• Collaborating with US tax advisors on federal, state, and local tax filings.• Managing preparation for US statutory and internal audits.• Preparing and reviewing US GAAP-compliant financial reports for management and stakeholders.• Leading, mentoring, and developing team members in US accounting practices.Qualifications required for this role include:
• Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA (preferred), or MBA in Finance.• 10-15 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting with exposure to US GAAP.• Solid understanding of US taxation, SEC reporting, and financial consolidation.• Hands-on experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or QuickBooks.• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
