About the Role

As the Senior Vice President - Payroll at [Your Company Name], you will be the global process owner for payroll, overseeing the end-to-end delivery of payroll services for all employees. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Leadership & Operations Management: - Take ownership of accurate and timely payroll delivery for all employees globally, starting with India and expanding further. - Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing payroll operations team in Gurgaon. - Define and implement the target operating model for global payroll, including clear roles, responsibilities, and SLAs.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging technology and best practices.

  • • Payroll Transition & Transformation: - Lead the strategic transition of global payroll processes to the Gurgaon center of excellence.

  • - Develop and execute a multi-year transformation roadmap, including technology evaluation and process re-engineering.
    - Champion the implementation of a global payroll platform or optimize the current multi-vendor landscape.
    - Manage change management processes to ensure smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

  • • Governance, Risk & Compliance: - Establish a robust global payroll governance framework with policies, procedures, and controls.

  • - Ensure 100% compliance with all statutory regulations for India payroll and oversee compliance for other countries.
    - Manage relationships with internal and external auditors, ensuring timely remediation of findings.
    - Implement strong controls and a proactive risk assessment process to mitigate payroll-related risks.

  • • Stakeholder Management & Vendor Management: - Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, and Legal teams for seamless integration and data flow.

  • - Manage relationships with global payroll vendors, ensuring performance, accuracy, and cost accountability.
    - Serve as the escalation point for complex payroll issues and provide clear communication to senior leadership.

    Qualifications & Experience (Must-Haves): - 15+ years of progressive experience in payroll management, with leadership roles.

  • • In-depth knowledge of India payroll legislation, statutory compliances, and global payroll operations.

  • • Track record of leading payroll transformation projects and strong governance focus.
