As a seasoned finance leader, you will be responsible for heading the Record-to-Report (RTR) function within a large-scale Global Capability Center (GCC) environment. Your role will involve driving end-to-end RTR operations, transformation, controllership, and governance while managing large global teams to deliver best-in-class financial reporting and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide strategic leadership to the RTR function, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and scalable operations.• Lead engagement planning, manage engagement economics, risks, and timelines.• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close cycles, ensuring adherence to KPIs and timelines.• Ensure accurate financial reporting, including Balance Sheet & P&L, revenue recognition (Percentage of Completion milestone-based projects), and inventory accounting.• Drive process transformation through automation, standardization, and continuous improvement.• Implement technology-enabled solutions aligned with accounting and reporting requirements.• Lead ERP implementations/upgrades (Oracle/SAP/JDE) and ensure strong user adoption.• Strengthen internal controls & compliance, including SOX governance and risk mitigation.• Provide actionable insights and analytics to support business decision-making.• Collaborate with Controllership, Business Finance, Auditors, and Leadership stakeholders.• Build and lead high-performing teams; drive talent development, coaching, and succession planning.Qualifications Required:
• CA / CPA /MBA Finance/ ICWA with 20+ years of experience in Finance Operations.• Strong, hands-on expertise in end-to-end RTR processes, including financial close, reporting, and controllership.• Proven track record of managing large teams (100+ FTEs) in complex, global environments.• Extensive experience working in Global Capability Centers (GCCs) / Captives / Shared Services setups.• Strong understanding of GAAP & IFRS with experience in compliance, controls, and governance.• Manufacturing industry experience preferred, with exposure to inventory and project-based accounting (PoC method).• Demonstrated success in driving large-scale transformation initiatives, including automation, standardization, and process re-engineering.• Hands-on experience in ERP implementations/upgrades and finance digitization programs.
