About the Role

As a Vice President in Macquarie Asset Management Real Assets in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in focusing on the Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund series, which involves investing equity and equity-like instruments directly into infrastructure businesses and assets throughout the Asia-Pacific region, with a primary focus on the India market. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing the due diligence process, sourcing new investment opportunities, asset management of portfolio businesses, refinancings, and exits. You will work closely with colleagues and external advisors in sourcing, screening, assessing, and negotiating transactions, developing and managing financial models, performing valuations and due diligence, as well as liaising with the management of the portfolio companies and third-party advisors. Additionally, you will prepare investment papers for approval by the investment committee to ensure successful investment and asset management decisions in alignment with the investment strategy of managed funds.
