About the Role

As a Corporate Development Lead at our company, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable growth through proactive M&A strategies, strategic partnerships, and integration efforts. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will have high-visibility and C-suite access, with true ownership of your responsibilities.

  • • Build and manage a proactive deal pipeline from scratch, including industry mapping, target identification, direct owner outreach, and generation of proprietary/off-market opportunities.

  • • Lead end-to-end M&A processes, encompassing sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, and closing of deals.

  • • Drive post-merger integration and value creation to ensure that deals deliver the expected results.

  • • Conduct ongoing market, competitive, and adjacency analyses to support inorganic and organic growth strategies.

  • • Partner closely with the EVP of Sales to evaluate and advise on new markets, product adjacencies, and organic growth opportunities.

  • • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team on capital allocation, growth strategy, and risk assessment.

  • • Develop and maintain strong networks with bankers, brokers, and industry contacts to ensure a consistent deal flow.
  • In terms of qualifications, we are looking for someone with:

  • • 815+ years of progressive experience in Corporate Development, M&A, or Investment Banking.

  • • A proven track record as a hunter, having personally sourced and closed proprietary deals, not just executed banker-led transactions.

  • • Demonstrated success in building target pipelines, developing acquisition theses, and driving direct outreach to owners.

  • • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and strategic analysis skills.

  • • Experience in manufacturing or industrial products is preferred.

  • • An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Join us in this exciting opportunity to build and lead our corporate development function, driving growth and innovation in a dynamic environment.
