About the Role

As a Vice President, Information Technology Operations at Standard Insurance S.C., your role involves directing the organization's IT operations to ensure technology services effectively support business goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the overall IT operations function to align technology services with organizational objectives. - Oversee the design, rollout, and optimization of IT infrastructure, platforms, and business applications. - Manage IT service management practices, including incident, problem, and change management processes.

  • • Maintain strong service availability, security controls, and operational performance.

  • • Supervise IT teams and coordinate effectively with third-party vendors and service providers.

  • • Define service-level agreements and monitor delivery against agreed standards.

  • • Drive operational improvements and identify opportunities for enhancing reliability and efficiency.

  • • Work with executive stakeholders to align technology plans with company strategy and business needs.

  • • Support budgeting, risk oversight, governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance efforts.
  • Qualifications and Requirements: - Deep expertise in IT operations and IT service management.

  • • Solid leadership experience in information technology management.

  • • Strong strategic planning ability with a track record of converting business objectives into practical technology outcomes.

  • • Significant experience in financial services or insurance technology settings.

  • • Advanced knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity practices.

  • • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • • Master's degree or professional certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, PMP, or CISSP would be advantageous.
