About the Role

As an accomplished and dynamic Assistant Vice President of Sales specializing in Insurance and Mutual Funds within the wealth management space at Yubi, your primary responsibility will be to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong relationships with financial partners and clients. You will play a crucial role in strategizing and executing sales initiatives, leading product distribution, and managing a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: - Sales Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for Insurance and Mutual Funds aligned with overall wealth business objectives. - Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to adjust strategies and identify new opportunities. - Monitor individual and team performance, provide coaching, and guidance to optimize productivity and achieve targets.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales team.

  • Relationship Building & Business Development - Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including financial advisors, broker networks, and institutional partners.

  • - Engage in regular business development activities to expand the sales pipeline and increase market penetration for insurance and mutual fund products.
    - Work closely with internal teams such as product, marketing, and operations to ensure seamless integration of new initiatives and refinement of existing offerings.

  • Client Engagement & Sales Support - Oversee client engagement efforts, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective communication throughout the sales cycle.

  • - Collaborate with relationship managers to tailor product offerings to meet the evolving needs of high-net-worth clients.
    - Represent the organization at industry events, seminars, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network with potential partners.

  • Reporting & Compliance - Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and strategic updates for senior leadership.

  • - Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices.
    - Implement tools and technologies to efficiently track, manage, and analyze sales metrics.

    Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.

  • • Proven track record of success in a senior sales role within wealth management, specifically in insurance and mutual funds distribution.

  • • 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, or related roles, with a strong preference for experience in financial services and wealth management environments.

  • • Deep knowledge of insurance products and mutual funds, including market trends, regulatory aspects, and customer dynamics.

  • • Outstanding leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers at all levels.
