About the Role

You will be joining as a Senior Vice President, Fund Reporting Manager at BNY, located in Pune. As part of your role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • • Provide oversight and set priorities for multiple teams responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports on behalf of assigned clients and funds.

  • • Manage the performance of teams and set area priorities.

  • • Provide oversight and guidance in setting the processes that check for the completeness and accuracy of disclosure in financial statements.

  • • Resolve complex escalated issues from team members.

  • • Oversee relationships with senior-level auditors and clients to ensure financial reporting meets their expectations and accurately depicts fund performance.

  • • Ensure financial reporting meets Corporate and any applicable regulatory standards.

  • • Lead analysis of changes in accounting and disclosure standards to direct process changes needed to ensure compliance.

  • • Lead presentation of fund reports to Board of Directors to ensure good governance.

  • • Communicate complex or difficult concepts.

  • • Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.

  • • Manage a Fund Reporting area. Work is primarily accomplished through subordinate managers.

  • • Responsible for the achievement of the goals of a financial reporting area, talent management, and supervision of teams.
  • To excel in this role, the following qualifications are required:

  • • Bachelor's degree is required. An educational background in accounting is highly preferred.

  • • 12+ years of total work experience with at least 3+ years of management experience preferred.

  • • Experience in financial reporting, US GAAP, IFRS is highly preferred.
