About the Role

As the Director, Business Process Management in R2R (Record to Report) at McDonald's, your role involves driving the execution of core end-to-end accounting processes. You will focus on process vision, standardization, and identifying improvements to achieve operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

  • • Establishing an E2E Process Vision & Roadmap by partnering with Market and Enterprise teams to define business outcomes and develop a strategy for success.

  • • Driving Process Standardization by overseeing the overall management, maintenance, and documentation of end-to-end global processes.

  • • Monitoring Performance through regular reviews to ensure the achievement of goals in the end-to-end processes.

  • • Identifying Improvements by bringing leading practices and technology solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization.

  • • Promoting Process Culture, focusing on excellence, fostering collaboration, and building strong relationships across functions.

  • • Developing Business Cases to secure budgets for continuous process improvements.
  • Qualifications required for this role include:

  • • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or equivalent are preferred.

  • • Extensive experience in managing the full Record to Report process, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliations, with a focus on optimizing and standardizing R2R processes globally.

  • • 16+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, or HR transformation within large organizations.

  • • Expertise in business partnership, problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement.

  • • Ability to diligently follow predefined decision trees, rulebooks, and standard operating procedures to execute transactional accounting operations accurately and efficiently.

  • • Extensive experience in process management and optimization, with a track record of establishing end-to-end process visions and roadmaps to achieve business outcomes.

  • • Proven ability to drive process standardization initiatives, including management, maintenance, and documentation of global processes.

  • • Strong background in performance monitoring and improvement identification, with expertise in bringing leading practice processes and technology solutions to drive continuous improvement efforts.
