About the Role

ROLE SUMMARY

The Production Head is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing all production activities across the LAN, CCTV, and Cable Assembly manufacturing lines. This role ensures that production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently met while optimizing resources and minimizing waste.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and manage day-to-day production schedules for LAN, CCTV, and cable assembly lines

• Coordinate with AM Production, Supervisors, and Operators to achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets

• Monitor production output and report variances against planned targets

• Drive efficiency improvements and reduce wastage across all production lines

• Collaborate with QA, Stores, and Maintenance for smooth production flow

• Ensure all production processes follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety standards

• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and technical issues in a timely manner

• Participate in product trials, new product introductions, and engineering changes

• Conduct team briefings, toolbox talks, and performance reviews for production staff

• Maintain production records, shift logs, and MIS reports

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 8–12 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory role

• Experience in cable/harness assembly, LAN networking components, or CCTV systems manufacturing preferred

KEY SKILLS . COMPETENCIES

• Strong production planning and execution capabilities

• Knowledge of assembly line management and line balancing

• Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, control plans, and SPC

• Good communication and team leadership skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and production MIS systems

• Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIS)

• Achievement of daily/monthly production targets

• Downtime reduction and line efficiency improvement

• Rework and rejection rate targets

• On-time delivery of finished goods to warehouse

• 5S and housekeeping audit scores

Pay: ₹1,800,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
