About the Role

**ABOUT THE ROLE
We are establishing a new
Quality Control (QC) leadership function in our India offshore operations. As Head of QC — India, you will own and scale the end-to-end quality assurance framework for all geospatial, CAD, and telecom infrastructure deliverables produced by the Bangalore team.
This is a
build-and-scale leadership role, not just a review function. You will work closely with our U.S.-based QC leadership team**, who have established global standards and best practices. Your responsibility is to localize, operationalize, and scale these standards in India, while building a high-performing QC organization. You will serve as the final authority on quality for India deliverables, ensuring only production-ready outputs are delivered to U.S. project teams and clients. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESQC Leadership . Governance

  • • Own the end-to-end QC strategy, governance, and execution for India operations

  • • Act as the final approval authority for all India-produced GIS, CAD, and telecom deliverables

  • • Define and enforce QC gates, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks

  • • Ensure alignment with U.S. QC standards while adapting them for offshore production scalability
  • Team Building . Management

  • • Build, lead, and scale a QC team in Bangalore

  • • Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate QC analysts/reviewers

  • • Establish a strong quality-first culture focused on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement

  • • Conduct performance reviews and capability development planning
  • Process Development . Standardization

  • • Translate U.S. QC standards into India-ready SOPs, checklists, and workflows

  • • Develop QC documentation including:

  • • Review checklists

  • • Error classification frameworks

  • • QC scorecards

  • • Training materials

  • • Identify gaps in production workflows and implement corrective process improvements
  • Quality Monitoring . Reporting

  • • Define and track key quality metrics:

  • • First-pass yield rate

  • • Rework percentage

  • • Error trends and classification

  • • QC turnaround time

  • • Provide weekly and monthly quality reports to India and U.S. leadership

  • • Present data-driven recommendations for process improvement
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • • Work daily with U.S. QC leads during EST overlap hours

  • • Participate in review discussions, escalation handling, and process refinement

  • • Act as the primary India-side QC escalation point

  • • Collaborate with production, project managers, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues
  • Domain Ownership (GIS / CAD / Telecom)

  • • Oversee QC of:

  • • CAD drawings and engineering layouts

  • • GIS datasets and spatial databases

  • • Fiber network designs (FTTx, aerial . underground infrastructure)

  • • Geospatial mapping deliverables

  • • Ensure compliance with telecom infrastructure standards including poles, ducts, handholes, splice enclosures, and network connectivity validation
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, GIS, Geography, Geoinformatics, or related discipline

  • 7–12. years of experience in GIS, CAD, or geospatial engineering (telecom/utilities preferred)

  • • Minimum 3. years in QC / QA / technical review / team lead roles

  • • Strong expertise in:

  • • ArcGIS (Pro / Desktop / Enterprise)

  • • QGIS

  • • AutoCAD / Civil 3D / MicroStation (any relevant CAD tools)

  • • Strong understanding of telecom fiber network design (FTTx, aerial, underground networks)

  • • Proven experience in reading and validating engineering drawings and spatial datasets

  • • Experience working in offshore–onshore delivery models is highly preferred

  • • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work in *5:30 PM – 9:30 PM IST (U.S. overlap shift)
    NICE TO HAVE**

  • • Experience with LiDAR, photogrammetry, or point cloud data validation

  • • Exposure to ISO / Six Sigma / structured quality frameworks

  • • Python or automation experience for QC workflows

  • • Experience with GIS workflow automation tools (FME, ModelBuilder, etc.)

  • • Experience in large-scale telecom or utility digitization programs
  • Pay: ₹8,844.33 - ₹45,686.21 per month
