As the Deputy Vice President Budgetary Control & Financial Planning, your role involves leading and overseeing the organization's budgeting, financial planning, and expense control processes. You will be responsible for ensuring timely preparation of budgets, monitoring variances, and providing effective financial reporting for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure timely preparation, consolidation, and finalization of annual budgets aligned with organizational goals and business plans.• Conduct periodic variance analysis of budgeted vs actual financial performance, identifying key deviations.• Prepare and present Budget vs Actual (BvA) reports to HODs and senior management with actionable insights.• Continuously monitor actual expenses against approved budgets, ensuring adherence, and identifying cost optimization opportunities.• Proactively highlight major variances to HODs and management, providing root cause analysis and recommended corrective measures.• Support rolling forecasts and periodic revisions of budgets based on business performance and external factors.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for budget inputs, tracking performance, and ensuring financial discipline across departments.Qualification:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance) / Equivalent professional qualificationRelevant Experience:
• 1015 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and MIS reporting• Prior experience in BFSI/Banking/NBFC sector preferred• Strong exposure to budgeting tools, financial analysis, and management reportingKey Skills & Competencies:
