About the Role

As an Alternatives Investor Services Project Specialist - Assistant Vice President at State Street, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the platform choices of the Alternatives offering, which includes middle and back-office asset fund administration, transfer agency, and covers various alternative asset classes such as Hedge, Private Equity, Private Credit, and Real Estate. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating with client-facing, product, global delivery (operations), technology, and Alpha teams to enhance the product offering and strengthen State Street's position in the industry.

Key Responsibilities: - Capable of reimagining solutions strategically to bring transformation in processes rather than just integrating technology into existing processes - Execute Global alternative development projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams - Act as a product owner for agile development projects, overseeing business outcomes, epic & story creation, status tracking, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication

  • • Participate in market research to identify trends and opportunities for new products

  • • Engage with clients to understand investment needs, provide expert advice on alternative investments, and build strong client relationships

  • • Own the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and budget

  • • Demonstrate strong understanding of product development process, agile development, and asset servicing for Alternatives

  • • Possess excellent project management, analytical, and process transformation skills

  • • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Alternative investor services operations, client implementation, and/or business analysis

  • • Experience with IS & wealth management systems such as Investran, InvestTA, iFAST, ISS, AWD, or iCapital

  • • Knowledge of Alternative Investor Relations and Transfer Agency operating model process

  • • Experience in JIRA, Confluence, Clarity, or Squirrel is advantageous
  • Qualification Required: - Professional integrity to drive and challenge for optimal outcomes

  • • Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • • Ability to lead development life cycles, complex projects, and client engagements

  • • Comfortable with facilitating project working groups with internal and external stakeholders

  • • Experience in designing new solutions by analyzing requirements and writing specifications would be preferred
