About the Role

As an Interim COO for a Manufacturing Company in Delhi NCR, you will play a crucial role in leading and stabilizing end-to-end manufacturing operations during a phase of rapid scale-up and operational expansion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manufacturing Operations Leadership: - Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across production facilities. - Ensure optimal plant utilization, productivity improvement, and cost efficiency. - Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Operations Transformation & Digitalization: - Lead adoption and integration of IoT and Manufacturing IT systems.

  • - Strengthen plant automation, data-driven decision making, and digital manufacturing capabilities.
    - Ensure seamless integration of ERP / MES / manufacturing analytics systems.

  • Supply Chain & Procurement Oversight: - Manage end-to-end supply chain including procurement, vendor management, logistics, and inventory planning.

  • - Improve supply chain resilience and operational agility to support business growth.
    - Optimize cost structures and procurement strategies.

  • Scale-Up Management: - Support the company's rapid expansion phase by strengthening manufacturing capacity and operational processes.

  • - Establish robust governance, operational KPIs, and reporting structures.

  • Stakeholder Management: - Work closely with CEO, Board, and senior leadership to align operational strategies with growth objectives.

  • - Lead and mentor plant heads, operations teams, and supply chain leaders.

  • Performance & Risk Management: - Drive improvements in operational KPIs such as OEE, cost per unit, yield, quality, and turnaround time.

  • - Identify operational risks and implement corrective action plans.

    Qualifications required for this role include:

  • • 20+ years of experience in manufacturing operations.

  • • Significant experience in leading large-scale manufacturing operations or multi-plant environments.

  • • Experience managing operations in companies with revenues exceeding 1000+ crores.

  • • Strong expertise in manufacturing operations, procurement, supply chain management, industrial automation, digital manufacturing, IoT, and operational excellence frameworks.

  • • Proven track record of leading large operational teams and complex manufacturing environments.

  • • Experience working directly with CXO leadership or board-level stakeholders.

  • • An engineering degree (Mechanical / Industrial / Production or similar) with an MBA preferred.
