About the Role

As a potential candidate for the role of Travel & Vacations in Balmer Lawrie, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring the Top-Line and Bottom-Line growth of the SBU in alignment with the Company's strategic plan. Your role will involve building and leading a team of professionals to retain and grow the business verticals, overseeing marketing activities, and establishing the brand in chosen segments. You will also be accountable for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & profit forecasts, effective working capital management, and collection targets. Leading the operations team to achieve cost optimization, technology upgradation, enhancing service quality, and customer satisfaction will be key aspects of your responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Manage and ensure Top-Line and Bottom-Line growth of the SBU

  • • Build and lead a team to retain and grow business verticals

  • • Oversee marketing activities for brand establishment and growth

  • • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & profit forecasts

  • • Ensure effective working capital management and achieve collection targets

  • • Lead cost optimization efforts and boost bottom-line across locations

  • • Upgrade technology for enhanced productivity and cost optimization

  • • Monitor service delivery quality and timeliness for sustainable customer satisfaction

  • • Identify expansion opportunities into new geographies and services

  • • Develop capital expenditure proposals and implement sanctioned CAPEX

  • • Review and ensure appropriate business processes, systems, and risk management

  • • Full-Time Engineering Graduate OR 2 years Full-Time MBA/Post Graduate Diploma in Management

  • • 19 years Post-Qualification Experience in travel industry and business leadership
