About the Role

As the Lead of Human Resources for a large-scale Automobile OEM manufacturing organization, your role involves ensuring strategic alignment of people, culture, capability, policy, and workforce excellence. You will drive organization transformation, productivity, IR stability, leadership development, talent acquisition and retention, and compliance across multiple plants or business units. Your responsibilities include:

  • • Developing HR Strategy & Providing Organization Leadership

  • • Leading Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning efforts

  • • Managing Industrial Relations (IR) & Ensuring Statutory Compliance

  • • Implementing Performance Management & Rewards systems

  • • Overseeing Learning, Development & Leadership Capability initiatives

  • • Fostering Employee Engagement & Culture Building

  • • Managing HR Operations & Implementing Digital HR solutions

  • • Handling Plant HR, Safety & Welfare functions

  • • Leading a team and overseeing Business HR operations

  • • Implementing modern HR practices, systems, policies, OB, OD, OC, HR budgeting, and HR processes
  • Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • • Postgraduate degree in HR from a reputed institute (XISS, XLRI, TISS, IIM)

  • • 25 to 30 years of experience in large-scale OEM or Tier-1 automobile manufacturing

  • • Deep knowledge of labour laws, IR, union management & statutory compliance

  • • Expertise in HR strategy, talent management & workforce planning

  • • Strong understanding of digital HR tools & HR analytics

  • • Experience in handling multi-plant HR operations, with a minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership HR role

  • • Age limit: 53 years
