About the Role

As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in the service industry, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of the Group and preparing it for future growth and engagement in capital markets. Your responsibilities will include:

Role Overview:
This high-impact leadership role requires a finance professional with deep technical expertise and strong business acumen. You will be responsible for owning the Group's financial strategy from end to end, including building robust controls, shaping the capital structure, optimizing working capital efficiency, and preparing for institutional and capital markets engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the Director and CEO to develop the Group's financial strategy aligned with business objectives

• Lead budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting processes across all business units

• Provide data-driven financial insights for strategic decision-making

• Identify financial innovations and funding structures for business expansion and margin improvement

• Establish and strengthen financial control frameworks for compliance with regulatory standards

• Oversee audits, taxation, and risk management across all Group entities

• Manage working capital, treasury operations, and cash flow to optimize funds deployment

• Evaluate financial viability of new ventures and support M&A opportunities

• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders and drive transparency in reporting systems

• Lead the finance function's preparation for a potential IPO including governance upgrades and SEBI compliance

• Drive digital transformation and financial innovation through automation and technology adoption

• Build and develop a high-performance finance team with clear processes and accountability

• Bring expertise in financial regulations, financial modeling, and treasury operations

• Translate financial data into actionable insights for the leadership team

• Uphold high integrity and ethical financial practices

Qualifications Required:

• 1518 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with 5 years in a CFO or similar role

• Experience in financial planning, corporate finance, working capital management, and taxation

• Experience in service-driven businesses with revenues of 500 Cr+

• Deep knowledge of Indian financial regulations and compliance standards

• Strong command over financial modeling, treasury operations, and investor reporting

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification strongly preferred

• Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) or MBA in Finance from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 B-School will also be considered
