About the Role

Job Summary:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) will lead the end-to-end development and scaling of the Battery Energy Storage Systems business, overseeing strategy, manufacturing, engineering, project execution, and commercial growth. This role is responsible for building a high-growth, independent business unit, including commissioning and scaling a 2.5 GWh manufacturing facility and expanding into domestic and global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute long-term business strategy, growth roadmap, and capacity expansion plans

• Own full P.L, revenue growth, and profitability targets

• Drive manufacturing excellence, operational efficiency, and cost optimization

• Lead business development across utilities, EPC, C.I, and global markets

• Oversee large-scale BESS project execution and ensure quality, safety, and timely delivery

• Build strategic partnerships with suppliers, investors, and industry stakeholders

• Guide technology roadmap, product innovation, and compliance with global standards

• Manage capital allocation, fundraising, and investor relations

Key Requirements:

• Engineering degree (MBA preferred)

• Extensive leadership experience in battery manufacturing, EV, renewable energy, or power electronics

• Proven ability to scale large industrial or energy businesses

• Strong industry network and expertise in BESS, EPC, and clean energy ecosystems

Success Metrics:

• Revenue and order book growth

• EBITDA and cost per kWh improvements

• Manufacturing capacity utilization

• Successful project execution and market expansion
