About the Role

As a Business Head - Executive Search at Peepal Consulting, your role is crucial in scaling the executive search business by building deep, trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and converting them into long-term search partnerships. You will report directly to the COO and be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new mandates, and positioning Peepal as a trusted advisor for leadership hiring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Own the revenue growth charter for Peepal's Executive Search business.

  • • Drive acquisition of retained and exclusive executive search mandates.

  • • Build a strong pipeline of leadership hiring opportunities.

  • • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with founders, CEOs, board members, CHROs, and business heads.

  • • Define and sharpen Peepal's executive search positioning across industries and client segments.

  • • Lead discussions on search scope, retainer structures, fee models, and timelines.

  • • Ensure all mandates are commercially sound and aligned with delivery realities.

  • • Work closely with delivery leaders to ensure clear intake, realistic expectations, and strong client experience.

  • • Identify opportunities for repeat business, succession planning, and broader advisory engagement.

  • • Bring structure to executive search business development and maintain disciplined pipeline visibility.

  • • Partner with the COO to prepare the business for scale readiness.
  • Qualifications:

  • • 8-15 years of experience in Executive Search, Leadership Hiring, or Senior Talent Advisory.

  • • Proven track record in originating and closing executive search mandates.

  • • Strong network among founders, CEOs, board members, and senior HR leaders.

  • • High commercial judgement and credibility in senior rooms.

  • • Comfortable with ambiguity and high-stakes decisions.

  • • Skilled in building long-term relationships and maintaining patience for longer sales cycles.

  • • Ability to bring discipline without compromising quality.
