About the Role

As the Vice President of Operations & Process Innovation at a 32-year-old healthcare billing and medical records company with employees in the US, Peru, and India, you will play a crucial role in leading the operational aspects of the business. Your primary responsibility will be to take ownership of day-to-day operations and ensure smooth functioning across all locations. You will drive process design, make technology decisions, coordinate teams across different countries, and focus on continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: - Fully own day-to-day operations in the US, Peru, and India - Be directly accountable for operational performance, quality, and throughput - Analyze, redesign, standardize, implement, and measure workflows

  • • Transition the organization from inconsistent practices to repeatable, scalable processes

  • • Systematize institutional knowledge from experienced staff

  • • Determine the deployment of tools, technology, automation, and AI in operations

  • • Collaborate with the Solutions Architect/CTO on system design and operational requirements

  • • Manage the operational aspects of the company's ERP platform

  • • Develop operational processes for new products and client engagements

  • • Assess team structure, roles, capacity, and implement necessary changes

  • • Support role for CEO's operations management

  • Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of experience leading operations in a mid-size company

  • • Proven track record in analyzing and redesigning complex workflows

  • • Strong process and technology mindset

  • • Experience with automation, AI, or digital transformation

  • • Ability to work effectively across different countries, cultures, and functions

  • • Ownership mentality and excellent communication skills

  • • Full-time availability
  • In your first 90 days, you will immerse yourself in operations across all locations, map current workflows, identify pain points, present an operational assessment to the CEO, design future-state workflows, implement improvement initiatives, and establish a transformation roadmap for the next 6 months.

    How success will be measured: - Operations running smoothly without CEO intervention

  • • Documented, standardized, and followed core workflows

  • • Reduction in manual effort, errors, or cycle time

  • • Operations team viewing you as their leader
