About the Role
As the Head of Transaction Services (Market) at HSBC, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing operational delivery of Transition Services within the Transaction Services function. Your role will involve various responsibilities including:
Your primary role objectives are to lead the Transaction Service teams to deliver business objectives, manage stakeholder relationships, streamline operations, and ensure a robust control environment. Additionally, you will be accountable for managing costs, overseeing KRIs & KPIs, driving operational improvements, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
You will play a key role in strategizing and executing the TS function in the market, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining control principles. Your responsibilities will also include driving policy and procedure simplification, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional customer service through operational excellence.
Furthermore, you will be accountable for risk and control management, business performance, stakeholder engagement, leadership, and teamwork. Your leadership skills will be crucial in attracting, developing, and retaining top-quality staff, setting high performance standards, and fostering a client-centric mindset within the team.
To excel in this role, you should possess a thorough understanding of the Group, market, and CIB business, expertise in Credit & Lending processes, and strong relationship management skills. Additionally, you should have a commercial mindset, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
