About the Role
As the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at a Private Equity Firm, your role will be crucial in leading IT and cybersecurity initiatives to support business operations, enhance efficiency, and safeguard sensitive financial data. You will be responsible for overseeing the firm's technology infrastructure, ensuring robust cybersecurity practices, managing vendor relationships, and driving innovation through AI and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities: - IT Infrastructure & Operations: - Oversee and maintain the firm's IT infrastructure across on-premises, cloud-based, and third-party platforms. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all systems and applications. - Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on support to ensure optimal IT service delivery.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and developers for timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-driven tools for operational efficiency and data analysis.
- Plan and execute procurement strategies for hardware, software, and services.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance for value and compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory requirements for proactive mitigation.
- Lead pilot projects for AI tools alignment with business objectives.
- Promote a culture of innovation and digital transformation.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Preferred Certifications: - CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
