About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Governance Coordinator for the Asia Pacific Region (APR), your role involves coordinating with Group CISO & APR Risk Management team to adapt central directives, implement cybersecurity governance, conduct analysis, and organize committees within APR. You will report directly to the Regional Head of Risk Management, APR.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Adapting Group documents to enhance local cyber resilience

• Organizing quarterly regional ISS Committee

• Cascading risk mapping to the local level

• Supporting the assessment of local third-party security and ensuring follow-up on remediation actions

• Providing advice on local/regional IT and Cyber Projects arbitrations and implementation follow-up

• Enhancing cyber risk governance for compliance with DORA Regulation

• Supporting Group on Cyber risk monitoring & controls

• Conducting Cyber Risk assessments at the regional level

• Overseeing local cybersecurity regulations in Asia Pacific, conducting gap analysis, and defining action plans to close gaps with stakeholders

• Performing other risk management activities and projects as required

Key skill sets required for this role include:

• Experience in developing and implementing security strategies and initiatives

• In-depth knowledge of security principles, standards, and technologies

• Understanding of information security principles, practices, and technologies

• Knowledge of risk management practices and cybersecurity regulatory requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work well in a team and establish effective working relationships

• Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently

You should have:

• At least 10 years of experience in IT management/cybersecurity governance or related field

• Previous exposure in a financial institution is preferred

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or related field

• One of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA
