As a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in a dynamic private equity firm based in Worli, Mumbai, your role is crucial in leading IT and cybersecurity initiatives to support business operations, enhance efficiency, and safeguard sensitive financial data. You will be responsible for overseeing the firm's technology infrastructure, ensuring robust cybersecurity practices, managing vendor relationships, and driving innovation through AI and digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities: - IT Infrastructure & Operations: - Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across on-premises, cloud-based, and third-party platforms. - Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of all systems and applications. - Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Provide strategic direction and hands-on support for optimal IT service delivery.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and developers for timely delivery of solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate AI-driven tools to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
- Plan and execute procurement strategies for hardware, software, and services.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance to ensure value and compliance.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory requirements for proactive mitigation strategies.
- Lead pilot projects for AI tools aligning with business objectives.
- Promote a culture of innovation and digital transformation across the firm.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Preferred Certifications: - CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications.
