About the Role

As a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at our client, a financial services institution in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, IN, your role involves safeguarding digital assets and ensuring robust information security across the organization. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive information security program that aligns with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Defining the organization's security strategy

• Leading the security operations team

• Conducting security audits and vulnerability assessments

• Managing the cybersecurity budget

• Developing and enforcing security policies and procedures

• Representing the organization on security matters to regulators and external stakeholders

• Fostering a security-conscious culture throughout the company

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field

• At least 10-12 years of progressive experience in information security, with a substantial portion in leadership roles such as CISO or Head of Security

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are highly desirable

• Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
