As an Interim COO in the manufacturing sector, you will be responsible for leading and stabilizing end-to-end manufacturing operations during a phase of rapid scale-up and operational expansion. Your role will involve driving operational efficiency, digital transformation, and supply chain integration while ensuring continuity and performance improvement across plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations across production facilities, ensuring optimal plant utilization, productivity improvement, and cost efficiency.• Drive operational excellence through Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement programs.• Lead adoption and integration of IoT and Manufacturing IT systems, strengthening plant automation and digital manufacturing capabilities.• Manage end-to-end supply chain including procurement, vendor management, logistics, and inventory planning to improve resilience and operational agility.• Support the company's rapid expansion phase by strengthening manufacturing capacity, establishing robust governance, and operational KPIs.• Work closely with CEO, Board, and senior leadership to align operational strategies with growth objectives, while mentoring plant heads, operations teams, and supply chain leaders.• Drive improvements in operational KPIs and identify operational risks for corrective action plans.Candidate Profile:

• 20+ years in manufacturing operations, with significant experience in leading large-scale manufacturing operations.• Experience in companies with revenues exceeding 1000+ crores.Functional Expertise:
• Strong expertise in manufacturing operations, procurement, supply chain management, industrial automation, digital manufacturing, IoT, and operational excellence frameworks.• Experience in Automotive, Industrial Engineering, and EPC sectors.• Proven track record of leading large operational teams and working directly with CXO leadership.Education:
• Engineering degree (Mechanical / Industrial / Production or similar).• MBA preferred.
