Minimum Qualifications . Experience Technical/ Engineering and a MBA degree (preferred) with around 15-20 years of experience in the business in the field of telecommunications; Selling to and working with target customer base; Market research analysis, strategy, business development experience

Other Knowledge . Skills
Ability to handle complex and ambiguous business environment and to manage multiple priorities; Ability and experience in managing large complex customer requirements across multiple customer segments

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development Collaborate with RTMs Heads on formulation of region/segment strategy for medium and long term business growth based on market assessment, competitive analysis, TCL capabilities, and market trends. Formulate plans and guide execution for new and growth services in the market place across identified segments in the region ; Engage with product for service evolution and sales heads for tactical plans; Lead the discussion and analysis of aspects complex transactions; Assess performance and take corrective actions if required. 2. Cross Functional Team Management Coordinate and guide a cross functional team within the organization (Product, support teams) to drive the growth of the segment in order to drive convergence; Determine and execute the strategy for TCL (develop key imperatives; provide oversight on the imperatives) to capitalize on the target market in the region; Guide the team to establish the solutions required, arrive at cross product policy decisions and approaches that need to be escalated and evaluated. 3. Market Development Liaise with CTOs team to conduct an initial assessment of opportunities (market assessment, preliminary validation with customers to refine our strategy, product planning); Guide team to qualify early adopter customers in terms of defined criteria; Guide and drive the development of long term multi solution opportunties with targeted customers to increase the customer penetration, and TCL wallet share; Basis the preliminary assessment drive approval with senior management; Guide the team in development of a detailed value proposition; Liaise with sales team to meet qualified customers; Oversee development of marketing collateral for these qualified customers; Guide the development of the detailed business case and pricing model to customers; 4. Team Development Regularly review team structure and assess talent requirements; participate in the recruitment and selection process; conduct goal setting and performance review for the team; drive team development, engagement and reward initiatives; Drive creation of the sales incentive plan; Coach and mentor team members as required and ensure resolution of any people issues
