About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Director of IT Infrastructure to lead the end-to-end growth of the organizations infrastructure, hardware, and system integration business across India. This is an executive-level position that demands a visionary leader with deep domain expertise in technology hardware products, proven enterprise sales mastery, and the gravitas to build and sustain long-term C-suite client relationships. The ideal candidate brings more than 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities


Sales Strategy & Revenue Leadership
Define and execute the annual and multi-year hardware sales strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
Own and deliver the P&L for the hardware sales division, including revenue targets, margin, and growth KPIs.
Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities, new verticals, and untapped geographies.
Develop and monitor pricing strategies, discount frameworks, and deal structuring for enterprise accounts.
Team Leadership & People Management
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of regional sales managers, key account managers, and pre-sales engineers.
Set performance benchmarks and conduct regular reviews.
Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-first thinking across the sales organization.
Recruit, onboard, and retain top-tier sales talent in a competitive market.
Key Account & Partner Management
Own relationships with strategic accounts, OEMs, system integrators, channel partners, and distribution networks.
Lead executive-level negotiations and contract closures with government/PSU clients / Corporates
Develop partner enablement programs to expand reach through value-added resellers (VARs) and distributors.
Market Intelligence & Business Development
Track competitive landscape, industry trends, and technology disruptions within the IT infrastructure and hardware space.
Identify new business opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies accordingly.
Represent the organization at industry forums, trade shows, and conferences as a thought leader.
Establish relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and standards organizations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Legal on deal execution and contract management.
Work with the technology and pre-sales teams to develop winning solution architectures for complex bids.
Align with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and delivery excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background


Bachelor Degree
MBA or Post-Graduate Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management from a reputed institution (preferred).

Professional Experience



More than 15 years of progressive experience in hardware sales / IT Infrastructure/ System Integration
At least 8-10 years in a senior leadership role managing large sales teams and multi-crore revenue portfolios.
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets at a national or regional level.
Strong command over strategic deal closing and negotiation, with a consistent ability to convert high-value, complex opportunities into successful business wins.
Proven experience in enterprise sales cycles, government/PSU tendering, and large-scale B2B deal closures.
Experience with hardware categories such as servers, networking equipment, storage solutions etc.
