About the Opportunity

Strategic Management Alliance is hiring for a
Chief Operating Officer on behalf of a well-established
Hospitality and Food . Beverage company with a diverse presence across Casual Dining Restaurants and Food Retail formats in India .

The organization operates
multi-location restaurants offering European cuisine curated by acclaimed chefs , along with a
signature Italian cuisine cloud kitchen for its delivery vertical . The company is focused on strengthening its operational platform while pursuing structured expansion and growth across markets.

This role presents a
high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced hospitality and Restaurant Industry professional to drive
business performance, operational excellence, and strategic growth across the company’s operations in India.

The position will be
based in New Delhi and will work closely with the
Promoters and Senior Leadership Team to guide the next phase of the organization’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Leadership

Lead the development and execution of the company’s long-term business strategy to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Define the operational vision and business framework required to achieve expansion and performance objectives.

Work closely with the leadership team to identify new business opportunities and growth avenues within the hospitality and food service ecosystem.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the organization’s operational processes.

Pan-India Restaurant Operations

Provide overall leadership for the company’s
multi-location restaurant operations across India .

Ensure seamless execution of operational strategies across all outlets and delivery verticals.

Implement standardized operating procedures and best practices to ensure consistency in quality, service standards, and guest experience.

Oversee the operational performance of restaurants and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

P.L and Financial Performance

Take full ownership of
P.L performance across the business and drive revenue growth and margin improvement.

Develop and implement
Annual Operating Plans (AOP) , budgets, and performance benchmarks.

Monitor financial performance against targets and forecasts, implementing corrective strategies where necessary.

Drive profitability through operational efficiency, cost optimization, and improved business processes.

Performance Management . Operational Excellence

Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to monitor business performance across all units.

Analyze operational data to identify performance drivers and address process inefficiencies.

Drive process improvements and operational innovations to enhance productivity and service standards.

Ensure delivery of agreed
SLAs and KPIs across functions.

Market Intelligence . Growth Strategy

Evaluate market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to guide strategic decision-making.

Identify opportunities to expand the company’s restaurant footprint and delivery platforms.

Support the development of new formats, concepts, and revenue streams aligned with the company’s brand positioning.

People Leadership

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across operations, finance, and support functions.

Build a culture focused on accountability, performance, innovation, and collaboration.

Conduct periodic performance reviews and ensure leadership teams across locations are aligned with organizational goals.

Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.

20. years of experience in
Restaurant Operations / Food . Beverage Retail/QSR/Hospitality with significant leadership exposure.

Strong track record of
managing multi-location Restaurant Operations and delivering sustained business growth .

Experience in
P.L management, strategic planning, and large-scale operational leadership .

Deep understanding of the
restaurant industry, food retail formats, and delivery platforms

.

Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
