About the Role

As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a synthetic rubber manufacturing company based in Panipat, Haryana, India, your key responsibility will be to provide end-to-end operational leadership. You will oversee plant operations, supply chain, quality, safety, commercial coordination, and customer delivery. Your role will be crucial in scaling operations while maintaining efficiency, quality, and profitability in the synthetic rubber manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead overall plant operations, including production, maintenance, utilities, quality, EHS, and logistics

• Drive operational excellence in rubber manufacturing processes and capacity utilization

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

• Oversee supply chain and inventory management to ensure timely raw material sourcing and dispatch

• Collaborate with commercial teams for customer engagement, demand planning, and order fulfillment

• Monitor and enhance cost structures, KPIs, yields, and operational margins

• Support expansion initiatives, new product grades, and process optimization

• Build and lead high-performing cross-functional leadership teams

Qualification Required:

• 15+ years of experience in rubber/polymer/synthetic rubber manufacturing

• Proven leadership experience in large manufacturing plants with complex operations

• Strong exposure to production, quality systems, safety, and supply chain management

• Ability to work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders

• Experience in export-oriented or technology-driven manufacturing setups preferred

This role requires a strategic mindset and the ability to execute plans effectively in the synthetic rubber manufacturing sector. Your background in engineering or chemical industry, along with prior experience as a Plant Head, Operations Head, or Business Unit Leader in the rubber or polymer industry, will be advantageous. Experience working with international partners or joint ventures will be highly desirable for this position.
