About the Role

Role Overview:
As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Indo Group, you will play a vital role in overseeing the company's ongoing operations and procedures. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for managing the breadth of diverse business operations to ensure functionality and drive extensive and sustainable growth. Your leadership will be crucial in setting comprehensive goals, establishing policies, and promoting the company's culture and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures.

  • • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.

  • • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision.

  • • Oversee daily operations and the work of executives in various departments.

  • • Lead and motivate employees to achieve maximum performance.

  • • Evaluate performance through data analysis and metrics interpretation.

  • • Report key matters to the CEO regularly.

  • • Participate in expansion activities such as investments, acquisitions, and alliances.

  • • Manage relationships with partners and vendors.

  • • Ensure quality control across departments in collaboration with division managers.
  • Qualifications:

  • • Proven experience as a Chief Operating Officer or in a relevant role.

  • • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.

  • • Competency in strategic planning and business development.

  • • Experience in fundraising is advantageous.

  • • Knowledge of data analysis, performance metrics, IT/business infrastructure, and MS Office.

  • • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • • Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

  • • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.

  • • Strong business planning, operations management, and analytical skills.

  • • Financial acumen, budgeting experience, and leadership qualities.

  • • Ability to drive process improvement, operational efficiency, and communication skills.

  • • Preferred experience in the Heavy Engineering industry.

  • • MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
