About the Role

As a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Hidesign Group, you will play a crucial role in shaping the financial health and strategic direction of the organization. With a global presence in over 24 countries spanning specialized leather manufacturing, high-end retail, e-commerce, and luxury hospitality, your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional fiscal oversight. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the President and senior leadership with high-level decisions regarding organizational policy, international expansion, and long-term business strategy

• Directing all fiscal activities, including budget preparation, financial reporting, and internal and external auditing

• Conducting deep-dive P&L analysis across retail, manufacturing, and hospitality divisions to identify cost-reduction opportunities and improve the bottom line

• Ensuring compliance with global and domestic laws and regulations, along with accurate and timely filing of legal and regulatory documents

• Collaborating with heads of E-commerce, Marketing, Production, and International Business to develop and execute a cohesive strategic plan

• Managing and strengthening relationships with banking partners, and leading financial negotiations with business partners, mall developers, and international distributors

• Supervising financial reporting, accounts, and budgeting teams to ensure meticulous follow-up on budget achievements and variance analysis

• Overseeing complex financial reconciliations with retail partners to ensure revenue integrity

• Proactively identifying financial risks and opportunities for capital investment and expansion

In terms of qualifications, we are looking for someone with:

• 12 - 16 years of progressive experience in finance leadership, with a significant portion in Retail or Manufacturing sectors

• Proven track record of managing multi-crore P&L accounts and driving margin improvements

• Strong knowledge of GST, Corporate Law, and international taxation for export-oriented businesses

• Deep understanding of retail-specific financial metrics and reconciliation processes

Additionally, preferred skills for this role include experience in managing financial operations for premium hotels or luxury hospitality brands, advanced proficiency with enterprise resource planning systems, and exposure to international business expansion complexities.

Your success in this role will be driven by your ability to provide visionary direction, analytical rigor, collaboration across interdisciplinary teams, and strong negotiation and communication skills for high-level banking and business discussions.
