Role Overview:
You will be stepping into the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in a fast-growing Infrastructure and Logistics company based in Mumbai. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the financial strategy, governance, and capital markets activities of the organization. Your role will involve partnering closely with the CEO and the Board to drive sustainable growth and shareholder value. As a senior finance leader, you are expected to have a proven track record in fundraising and successful IPO execution, along with strong regulatory knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architect and execute a multi-year financial roadmap aligned with aggressive growth targets and long-term value creation.• Serve as a key advisor to the Board and Audit Committee, providing transparent insights into financial performance, risk profiles, and capital allocation.• Transition the organization to public-market readiness, ensuring compliance with standards like SOX/PCAOB.• Lead all equity and debt financing rounds by leveraging a strong network of Tier-1 VCs, Private Equity firms, and institutional lenders.• Direct the end-to-end IPO lifecycle, including underwriter selection, S-1/DRHP filing management, and leading the global investor roadshow.• Act as the primary spokesperson to the investment community, crafting a compelling equity story to enhance valuation and market confidence.• Build a sophisticated Forecasting and Analysis engine to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and EBITDA guidance.• Oversee the migration to enterprise-grade ERP systems for global consolidation and reporting automation.• Lead financial due diligence and integration strategies for strategic acquisitions and international market entries.• Mentor and scale a high-performing finance organization across accounting, treasury, tax, and internal audit.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable business intelligence.Qualification Required:
• 15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.• Previous experience as a CFO or VP of Finance through a successful IPO is mandatory.• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. An MBA from a top-tier institution and/or CPA/Chartered Accountant designation is highly preferred.• Experience in sectors such as SaaS, FinTech, or Manufacturing is preferred, but not required if the IPO track record is excellent.
