Chief Financial Officer | A reputed University in Uttarakhand

We are hiring for a leadership opportunity with one of our esteemed clients in the Higher Education sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.

Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting across all University functions and constituent colleges.

Oversee financial reporting, audits, taxation, and statutory compliance in line with applicable regulatory frameworks.

Manage treasury, working capital, and capital allocation for infrastructure and expansion projects.

Partner with the governing body and University leadership on long-term financial planning and investment decisions.

Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, risk management frameworks, and governance processes.

Oversee fee structuring, revenue planning, and cost optimization across academic and operational units.

Lead financial systems and ERP implementation to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiency.

Liaise with banks, financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies on financial matters.

Build and mentor a high-performing finance and accounts team.

Qualifications

Strong finance-based analytical skills10+ years in financial leadership roles, with prior experience in education, infrastructure, or large multi-unit organizations preferred.Chartered Accountant (CA) .
