About the Role

Role Overview:
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. You will ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and oversee the creation, revision, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures. Additionally, you will conduct regular risk assessments, establish a compliance training program, implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms, and manage internal control systems to ensure compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Oversee the creation, revision, and implementation of compliance policies and procedures

  • • Establish and maintain a compliance training program for employees

  • • Implement monitoring and reporting mechanisms to track compliance activities

  • • Manage internal control systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

  • • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies

  • • Develop and maintain an incident response plan for compliance violations

  • • Stay informed about emerging trends and changes in regulatory requirements

  • • Regularly report compliance performance to senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related field

  • • Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance Professional) are a plus

  • • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs

  • • In-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations and compliance requirements

  • • Strong leadership skills and the ability to build and manage a high-performing compliance team

  • • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail

  • • High ethical standards and commitment to promoting a culture of compliance and integrity

  • • Exposure/experience to internal audit/internal risk control practices
