About the Role

As a key leader within the Business Performance Operations (BPO) finance function supporting Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) business, your role involves working closely with Business Heads on Performance Management. You will be responsible for:

  • • Forecasting & Budgeting: developing revenue models and conducting scenario planning.

  • • P&L Governance: managing segment-level P&L governance and monitoring performance for Financials and key KPIs like AUM and NTB.

  • • Profitability Analysis: analyzing product-wise profitability and structured products.

  • • Capital & Cost Analysis: conducting capital allocation studies, cost optimization, and margin diagnostics.

  • • Advanced Analytics including Portfolio & Product Analytics, Predictive Modelling, Profitability Analytics, Peers benchmarking, etc.
  • In the realm of Data/Reporting, your responsibilities will include:

  • • Data Management & Analysis: managing and analyzing large datasets for decision making.

  • • Governance: ensuring data accuracy, reconciliation, and validation for decision-making.

  • • MIS Frameworks: Architecting and standardizing MIS frameworks.

  • • Reporting: managing periodic Board-level reports/dashboards with KPI-driven insights for Product and Group Performance Reviews.
  • Your role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in Wealth and Retail Banking business, particularly in Wealth Products, Affluent Segment, and Private Banking.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • • Providing standard Performance MI with insights on current performance.

  • • Conducting deep dive analytics on Business Performance to drive consistent and sustainable business performance.

  • • Partnering with Business and CFO teams to drive and manage Country Performance via agreed metrics.
  • In terms of Process, you will be responsible for:

  • • Implementing industry best practices on Performance Management, Forecasting, and Business Analytics.

  • • Driving continuous process improvement for efficiency and better control in FP&A activities.

  • • Collaborating with other Business Performance leads to ensure standard and consistent MI delivery across WRB.
  • Regarding People & Talent, your duties will involve:

  • • Leading, inspiring, and motivating teams to achieve their potential and deliver collective agendas.

  • • Enhancing the organization's culture and employee engagement through targeted actions.

  • • Building and executing a People Engagement strategy to improve overall employee well-being.
  • Skills and Experience required include Risk Management, Governance, Regulatory & Business Conduct, Financial Analysis, Banking Products, Storytelling, Managing People, Strategy & Execution, Performance Management, and Balance Sheet Management.

    Qualifications:

  • • MBA, CA, CFA, ACCA with a minimum of 12 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analytics.

  • • Proficiency in Financial Analysis, Banking Products, Risk & Controls, Regulatory & Compliance, and Performance Management.
