About the Role

We are partnering with a leading player in the telecom infrastructure ecosystem to appoint a Chief Business Officer (CBO) a strategic leadership role with full ownership of growth, revenue, and market expansion.

This mandate calls for a seasoned leader who can shape and scale business across tower, fiber, and next-gen digital infrastructure, while driving sustainable profitability and high-value partnerships.

Reports To: CEO

Location: Navi Mumbai

Role Mandate :

- Architect and deliver the organization's long-term growth and revenue strategy

- Own P&L performance, ensuring strong top-line acceleration and margin expansion

- Build and deepen strategic relationships with telecom operators, ISPs, enterprise & government stakeholders

- Lead commercial strategy, including large-scale contract negotiations, pricing frameworks, and asset monetization

- Identify and unlock new opportunities across fiber networks, data centers, and emerging infrastructure solutions

- Build and mentor a high-caliber leadership team across business and commercial functions

Key Deliverables:

- Annual revenue and EBITDA targets achievement.

- Growth in tenancy ratio / fiber utilization rate.

- Customer acquisition and retention.

- Expansion of network footprint through new contracts and partnerships.

- Enhanced brand positioning and market share.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Education: Essential Qualifications - MBA, Desired Qualifications - BE/B.Tech.

- Experience: 15-25 years in telecom infrastructure or related sectors (tower, fiber, or data center), with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven track record in business development, strategic partnerships, and P&L management.

- Strong understanding of telecom ecosystem, network rollout models, and infrastructure leasing.

Skills & Competencies :

- Strategic business acumen with strong execution ability.

- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills.

- Deep market understanding of telecom operators, ISPs, and enterprise customers.

- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.

- Financial literacy for budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis.

- Leadership, communication, and decision-making skills under dynamic conditions.
