About the Role

Role Overview :

The COO will lead and oversee all operational aspects of the client in brewery industry.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Operations & Manufacturing Excellence

- Oversee end-to-end production, drive plant efficiency, yield optimization, and cost control

2. Quality & Regulatory Compliance

3. Supply Chain & Procurement

- Manage sourcing of raw materials

- Optimize logistics and distribution for domestic and export markets

- Strengthen vendor relationships and cost efficiencies

4. Strategic Execution

- Translate business strategy into operational plans and KPIs

- Support expansion initiatives (new plants, capacity scaling, global partnerships)

- Drive digital transformation and automation in plant operations

5. Financial Performance

- Own operational budgets, cost structures, and profitability targets

- Improve margins through efficiency and process innovation

6. Leadership & Team Management

- Build and lead cross-functional teams across production, QA, supply chain, and engineering

- Develop leadership bench strength and foster a performance-driven culture

Key Skills & Qualifications

- 15-20+ years of experience in distillery, chemicals, ethanol, or pharma manufacturing

- Strong understanding of industrial alcohol production processes

- Experience with GMP, ISO, and regulatory compliance frameworks

- Proven track record in large-scale plant operations and cost optimization

- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

- Engineering, Chemical, or related degree
