About the Role

Role Overview:
As a Quality Automation Engineer in the Banking sector at the Associate Vice President level, you will play a vital role in undertaking and enabling automated testing activities in all delivery models. Your responsibilities will involve supporting teams to develop quality solutions, ensuring continuous integration, and assuring defect-free deployment of customer value. Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the transformation of testing by implementing quality processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance control, accuracy, and integrity.

• Support the design of automation test strategies aligned with business or program goals.

• Evolve predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products.

• Collaborate with stakeholders and feature teams to ensure automated testing is a crucial part of planning and product delivery.

• Design and create a low-maintenance suite of stable, reusable automated tests usable within and across domains and systems.

• Apply testing and delivery standards by understanding the product development lifecycle, along with mandatory regulatory and compliance requirements.

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of eight years of experience in automated testing, particularly in an Agile development or CI/CD environment.

• Strong automation engineering capability, including hands-on expertise with tools and frameworks like UiPath, Selenium, Java, and RestAssured.

• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into effective automated test coverage.

• Quality Engineering mindset to drive continuous improvement and challenge existing practices.

• Experience in end-to-end and automation testing with the latest tools recommended by the enterprise tooling framework.

• Background in designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks in new environments.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
