About the Role

As a PRM & SPRM at HSBC, your role is crucial in growing and nurturing HSBC Premier relationships, particularly with High Networth Individuals in the Personal Banking customer base. Your main goal is to achieve business targets by providing exceptional customer service, anticipating customer needs, and offering banking/financial advisory services. You are expected to maintain high-quality customer service aligned with Global Premier Service Standards and identify opportunities for wealth reviews and deliver wealth solutions while complying with local regulatory requirements.

Your principal accountabilities include:

  • • Maximizing profit and achieving growth in the Premier clients portfolio

  • • Building effective relationships with clients to retain and develop sustainable relationships

  • • Completing regular reviews with clients to understand their needs and advise them on suitable products and services

  • • Utilizing tools and information to drive client service delivery and performance

  • • Establishing client contact strategies in line with Group operating models

  • • Demonstrating an excellent understanding of client needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and achieving sales closures
  • In order to be successful in this role, you need to possess key attributes such as excellent sales and people management skills, a client-driven mindset, strong interpersonal communication skills, a sense of ownership and responsibility, and a good understanding of financial planning and wealth management.

    You will be responsible for owning and managing a portfolio of clients with a Total Relationship balance of 25 lakhs or more. Your role involves maximizing growth in your portfolio, leading Premier activities, ensuring compliance with relevant Group standards, and holding lending approval authorities appropriate to your role.

    To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree with at least 5-8 years of relationship management experience with high net worth clients. You should also demonstrate strong sales results in insurance and investment products, technical skills in wealth management, communication skills, and a sound knowledge of financial services products and services.

    Additionally, it is mandatory to possess IRDA and AMFI certifications, have familiarity with AI-enabled tools, and be able to communicate effectively in English and local languages.
