As a senior leader within the Corporate Affairs Group of Mashreq, you will play a critical role in shaping IBG's financial strategy and contributing to the Group's finance transformation agenda. Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing strategic financial leadership across IBG's international footprint, ensuring alignment with Group strategy, financial discipline, and performance objectives.• Overseeing end-to-end financial management including planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and financial governance across all IBG countries.• Driving robust financial controls, governance standards, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.• Delivering insightful management reporting, variance analysis, and forward-looking financial insights to support decision-making by IBG and Group leadership.• Partnering with the Head of IBG Finance to support business expansion, profitability enhancement, capital efficiency, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.• Actively supporting the GCFO's leadership agenda and representing IBG Finance in Group-level forums and initiatives.• Leading and embedding a digital and AI-led transformation agenda within IBG Finance, including automation, predictive analytics, standardized reporting tools, and process harmonization across countries.• Building and leading a high-performing, future-ready finance organization with strong succession planning, talent development, and capability uplift across geographies.Key capabilities and experience required for this role include:
• Senior finance leadership experience (15+ years' experience) within international or wholesale banking, preferably covering multi-country operations.• Strong strategic finance, performance management, and governance expertise.• Proven experience partnering with senior business leaders and influencing decision-making at the executive level.• Demonstrated leadership in driving finance transformation, digitalization, and AI-enabled solutions.• Strong understanding of regulatory, accounting, and control environments across multiple jurisdictions.• Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).This role offers you the opportunity to be at the forefront of financial strategy for Mashreq's International Banking Group, spanning nine countries across the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the United States.
