About the Role

In this role as an AVP Account Manager Marketing at Synchrony, a premier consumer financial services company, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating strong partnerships with key strategic clients. Your focus will be on delivering complex campaigns across multiple marketing channels, optimizing efficiency within client campaigns, and supporting key business strategic initiatives. By leveraging your campaign strategy and execution expertise, you will drive towards safety and soundness while ensuring client campaign business goals are met. Here are the key responsibilities you will undertake:

  • • Leverage campaign strategy & execution expertise to optimize & drive efficiency within client campaigns, focusing on key business strategic initiatives with a diligent focus on safety & soundness.

  • • Manage campaign execution across multiple marketing channels such as direct mail, email, paid media, earned media & Marketplace.

  • • Develop strategic relationships with client teams as a trusted advisor and influencer, providing thought leadership and guidance on insights and strategic thinking.

  • • Assist clients in achieving their goals and staying ahead of industry trends by anticipating their needs and offering solutions that align with business objectives.

  • • Lead cross-functional client marketing meetings and collaborate with functional experts to develop execution program solutions that achieve strategic client objectives and optimize marketing opportunities.

  • • Act as Agile team scrum master at times, managing strategic client projects and leading process improvements across all channels.

  • • Serve as a central point of contact with marketing teams for milestone tracking, change control requests, process exceptions, and omni channel optimization opportunities.
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Bachelors Degree OR in lieu of degree high school diploma/GED and 7+ years of professional experience in sales, marketing, operations in a corporate environment or in lieu of a degree 9+ years of experience required.

  • • A minimum of 7+ years of marketing experience to include Project Management and client relationship experience.
  • Desired Skills/ Knowledge:

  • • Excellent team skills; ability to pivot with strategy, regulatory and market evolution; and proven ability to work cross functionally.

  • • Proven client relationship management skill sets, experience developing plans and consistently meeting deadlines.

  • • Project management experience leveraging the Workfront platform for campaign execution.

  • • Excellent organization, communication & critical thinking skills, ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment and synthesize information.

  • • Agile skill sets, team, process, tools and/or methods experience.

  • • Demonstrated experience with tactical omnichannel execution across multiple channels and a general understanding of Paid Media execution components.

  • • Curiosity and adaptability to change; a catalyst for new ways of thinking and delivering for the business.
  • If you are an L09+ Employee who has completed 18 months in the organization and 12 months in the current role and level, you are eligible to apply for this role. The work timings for this position are from 2 PM to 11 PM IST, with Enhanced Flexibility offered in Synchrony India. You will have the option to work from home or in Regional Engagement Hubs located in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Kolkata, or Delhi/NCR. You may be required to commute or travel to Hyderabad or one of the Regional Engagement Hubs for in-person engagement activities such as business/team meetings, trainings, and events.
