About the Role

As the Vice President - Strategic Sourcing, you will be responsible for leading the organization's end-to-end sourcing and procurement strategy. Your role will involve driving cost optimization, establishing supplier partnerships, mitigating risks, and creating long-term value. You will collaborate with leadership, finance, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure that sourcing strategies align with the business's growth, profitability, and sustainability objectives in both domestic and global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement an enterprise-wide strategic sourcing and procurement roadmap that is in line with the business objectives

• Take charge of category management, supplier consolidation, and develop strategies for long-term supplier partnerships

• Drive initiatives focused on cost reduction through negotiations, should-cost analysis, and value engineering

• Manage supplier performance, negotiate contracts, and oversee SLA governance

• Mitigate sourcing risks associated with supply continuity, quality, compliance, and geopolitical factors

• Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting, tracking savings, and optimizing working capital

• Lead digital transformation efforts in sourcing through e-sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), analytics, and automation

• Ensure compliance with governance, ESG, and ethical sourcing standards

• Develop and mentor high-performing sourcing and procurement teams across different locations

• Provide support for new product launches, CapEx sourcing, and make-vs-buy decisions

Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and category management

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive cost reduction initiatives

• Demonstrated expertise in supplier relationship management and contract negotiations

• Familiarity with governance, compliance, ESG, and ethical sourcing standards

• Experience in leading digital transformation initiatives in sourcing

• Excellent leadership and team-building skills to mentor and develop high-performing teams
