Role Overview:
As a Vice President Financial Crime Risk and Control - Risk Strategy & Controls in the FCR&C division, you will play a crucial role in shaping the risk and control landscape across technology platforms, with a focus on audit readiness and strategic risk governance. Your responsibilities will involve defining and leading the technology risk strategy, advising senior leadership on emerging risks, driving strategic initiatives, and overseeing the integration of advanced analytics into risk monitoring frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and lead the technology risk strategy aligned with regulatory expectations• Advise senior leadership on emerging technology risks and control enhancements• Drive strategic initiatives to embed risk intelligence into digital transformation programs• Lead the development and analytics to automate risk assessments and control testing• Integrate advanced analytics and AI/ML into risk monitoring frameworks• Design and execute IT control frameworks across trading platforms and payment systems• Ensure readiness for regulatory reviews and external audits• Monitor and assess control effectiveness across banking processes• Review internal processes to identify and document financial crime risks• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing on controls• Assess risks responsible for mitigating and protecting the Bank's reputation• Present testing results and strategic recommendations to the leadership team• Build partnerships with various teams to foster a risk-aware culture• Lead governance forums focused on technology risk and control transformationQualifications Required:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or a related field• 14+ years of experience in technology risk, audit, or compliance within investment or corporate banking• Deep understanding of banking products, trading systems, and regulatory frameworks• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and executive-level stakeholder management• Experience with testing controls and remediating control gaps• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and lateral thinking ability• Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills• Ability to work under strong time constraintsAdditional Company Details:
