Role Overview:
As the Vice President of People & Culture at a trailblazing Electric Vehicle (EV) startup in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in shaping the human experience within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to align people strategy with business goals and growth trajectory across various functions such as manufacturing, R&D, and sales.• Design and implement scalable organizational structures, job architectures, and career pathways to support the company's expansion.• Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract diverse, high-caliber talent through innovative sourcing strategies and a best-in-class recruiting engine.• Craft and promote an employer brand that resonates with mission-driven talent passionate about sustainability and technology.• Define, nurture, and scale the company's core values and culture while implementing comprehensive DEI strategies for an inclusive workplace.• Drive employee engagement through initiatives that foster belonging, recognition, and well-being in a hybrid work environment.• Create a modern performance management framework focused on continuous feedback, growth, and impact.• Develop leadership development programs and a robust learning & development ecosystem to upskill/reskill teams.• Design competitive compensation structures, benefits programs, and HR technology stack for operational efficiency and data-driven insights.• Ensure legal compliance across all people operations and employment laws in India.Qualifications Required:
• 12 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in a high-growth technology, product, or manufacturing startup/scale-up.• Proven track record of building HR functions from the ground up in a scaling environment.• Deep expertise in organizational design, talent strategy, and change management.• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business challenges into people solutions.• Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills with high emotional intelligence.• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Hyderabad.Additional Details:
