About the Role

As Vice President of Operations in US IT Staffing, you will be responsible for developing operational strategies, enhancing recruitment efficiency, driving client account growth and profitability. Your role will involve overseeing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, managing large teams both offshore in India and onshore in the US, and ensuring high-quality client service delivery for US-based clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with US staffing regulations, managing P&L, and leading teams to meet high-volume contractual, temporary, and permanent placement targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Delivery Leadership:

  • - Take ownership of end-to-end delivery for multiple enterprise and system integrator clients, ensuring high-volume and quality submissions.
    - Ensure timely and quality fulfillment of client requirements while adhering to SLAs.
    - Drive scalability and efficiency in hiring processes through optimization and tech-enabled solutions.

  • • P&L & Financial Management:

  • - Manage staffing business center profitability, margin, and cost optimization.
    - Drive revenue growth and profitability through resource allocation and operational efficiency.
    - Prepare accurate forecasting, budgeting, and reporting metrics.

  • • Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • - Interact with US clients, MSPs, and Account Managers to understand requirements and manage expectations.
    - Act as a senior point of contact for major domestic clients and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
    - Identify opportunities within existing accounts for larger revenue engagements.

  • • US IT Staffing Focus:

  • - Identify new US clients, manage account development, negotiate contracts, and foster vendor/client relations.

  • • Recruitment Strategy:

  • - Develop recruiting strategies to meet staffing demands for contract and FTE positions.

  • • Team Management:

  • - Lead, coach, and mentor large teams of recruiters, team leads, and account managers.
    - Build a performance-driven culture with high accountability and recognition.
    - Identify skill gaps and implement upskilling initiatives.

  • • Operational Leadership:

  • - Establish recruitment methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance productivity and reduce delivery time.
    - Develop and execute strategies to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and productivity.

  • • Travel & Market Presence:

  • - Travel across client locations PAN India to enhance visibility and strengthen relationships.
    - Represent the organization at industry forums, client meetings, and internal leadership reviews.

  • • Compliance & Risk:

  • - Ensure strict adherence to USCIS regulations, employment practices, and client contractual obligations.
    - Ensure compliance with US employment laws, tax requirements, and industry standards.

    Qualification Required:

  • • Minimum 20+ years of senior operations management experience in US IT staffing.

  • • Successful track record of delivery with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience in US IT/Non-IT staffing.

  • • Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems like JobDiva, Ceipal, or Zoho.

  • • Deep understanding of US hiring laws, tax terms (W2, 1099), C2H and C2C processes.

  • • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and mentoring skills.

  • • Strong command of KPIs such as submission-to-interview ratio, time-to-fill, and candidate retention.
