About the Role

As the VP of Growth, your primary role will be to lead the multi-territory expansion, performance marketing engine, and overall growth strategy across all business lines. You will oversee the growth function, including growth managers, channel owners, city/regional expansion teams, and cross-functional GTM squads. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Growth Strategy and Leadership: - Own and drive the overall growth roadmap across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. - Develop hyper-local expansion strategies to scale in existing geographies and launch new territories rapidly. - Build and mentor a high-performing organization of growth managers, performance marketers, regional leads, and growth analysts.

  • - Partner closely with the CEO, CPO, Growth Head, and Ops leadership to align growth objectives with broader business goals.

  • Performance Marketing and Channel Ownership: - Lead end-to-end paid marketing across various platforms such as Meta, Google, OEM, programmatic, affiliates, influencers, and emerging channels.

  • - Manage multi-crore monthly marketing budgets with a focus on ROI discipline.
    - Create experimentation frameworks for creatives, funnels, landing pages, onboarding flows, and retention journeys.
    - Drive customer acquisition cost (CAC) reduction, lifetime value (LTV) expansion, and efficiency improvements across all major channels.

  • Geography Expansion and Category Growth: - Develop expansion playbooks, go-to-market (GTM) frameworks, and local growth strategies for each city/region.

  • - Identify high-opportunity markets and lead launches with aggressive timelines.
    - Scale revenue and Daily Active Users (DAUs) across regions through on-ground insights, data-driven strategies, and rapid experimentation.

  • Product-Led Growth and New Verticals: - Collaborate with Product and Data teams to design growth loops, user journeys, and retention drivers.

  • - Influence the product roadmap to enhance activation, engagement, and monetization.
    - Drive launch strategies for new verticals, pricing, positioning, funnels, GTM sequencing, and scale-up mechanics.

  • Data, Analytics, and Experimentation: - Foster a rigorous experimentation culture including A/B testing, micro-optimizations, funnel deep dives, and user segmentation.

  • - Manage growth dashboards and north-star metrics across geographies and verticals.
    - Generate actionable insights through cohort analysis, growth accounting, and consumer behavior mapping.

    In addition to the above responsibilities, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • • 10-15+ years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or business expansion.

  • • 4+ years in senior growth leadership roles (VP Growth / Head of Growth / Growth Director).

  • • Proven success in scaling a B2C startup or consumer tech platform to a multi-million user scale.

  • • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across acquisition, performance marketing, analytics, and city/regional operations.

  • • Strong understanding of performance marketing, CAC/LTV modeling, attribution, retargeting, funnel optimization, and growth experimentation.

  • • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, MMPs, and ad-tech ecosystems.

  • • Ability to think across various channels such as paid, organic, referral, influencer, community, and affiliates.

  • • Proficiency in data SQL, dashboards, growth analytics, and cohort understanding.

  • • Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

  • • Highly analytical, experimental, and comfortable operating with speed and ambiguity.

  • • Ability to influence product, engineering, and ops leaders with strong strategic clarity.
