About the Role

As a Vice President - Group Benefits and Wellbeing Operations at HSBC, your role will involve leading the Benefits Operations team within the Offshore P&R Hub. Your responsibilities will include enabling team members to perform at their best, fostering a culture of agility, continuous improvement, and simplification. You will be accountable for managing Benefits & Wellbeing processes accurately and timely, ensuring global consistency and high-quality output. Additionally, you will collaborate with various HR teams to identify and implement improvements in employee benefits delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Lead and support the Benefits Operations team, promoting agility, continuous improvement, and simplification

  • • Manage and operate Benefits & Wellbeing processes, striving for global consistency and high-quality output

  • • Collaborate with HR teams to identify and implement improvements in employee benefits delivery

  • • Monitor key metrics, provide service management insights to senior HR stakeholders

  • • Oversee activities to mitigate risks, ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements

  • • Manage and develop the Global Benefits Operations team, focusing on customer experience, operational efficiency, and continuous professional development

  • • Provide expert advice on Benefits & Wellbeing products and services, identify improvement opportunities

  • • Engage with senior stakeholders, contribute to the global Benefits & Wellbeing community to ensure practices are effective and compliant

  • • Execute centralized benefit processes, collaborate with HR teams for a more employee-centric delivery
  • Qualifications Required:

  • • Minimum 12 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Employee Benefits, Employee Wellbeing, Performance and Rewards

  • • Ability to maintain excellent relationships at all levels

  • • Proficiency in using data and analytics for organizational improvement

  • • Strong HR knowledge, especially in performance and reward, and HR Technologies

  • • Analytical skills to interpret data insights and make recommendations

  • • Excellent communication skills for interacting with Senior Management

  • • Basic project & change management experience

  • • Proficiency in Excel or equivalent data management tools

  • • Experience in shared service operations team, preferably in Benefits and Wellbeing space
