About the Role

Role Overview:
As the Vice President Financial Sales at Equentis Wealth Advisory Ltd, you will play a crucial role in leading the business vertical dedicated to sourcing, structuring, and distributing Pre-IPO and unlisted equity opportunities to high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs), and family offices. Your responsibilities will include driving strategic partnerships, overseeing sales operations, and establishing a robust distribution network to solidify Equentis' position as a key player in the investment space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Business Leadership & Strategy:

  • - Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for the unlisted equity segment.
    - Identify high-growth stock opportunities and foster relationships with promoters, intermediaries, and investment bankers.
    - Set revenue targets and guide the sales team towards achieving aggressive growth metrics.
    - Cultivate high-growth stock opportunities and build strong relationships with promoters, intermediaries, and investment bankers.

  • • Sales & Distribution:

  • - Establish and lead a high-performing sales team specializing in stocks and private market products.
    - Create and manage a distribution network spanning wealth managers, IFAs, and institutional channels.
    - Enhance client acquisition and retention through consultative selling and effective relationship management.

  • • Client Advisory & Relationship Management:

  • - Engage with HNI and UHNI clients to present stock opportunities aligned with their investment objectives.
    - Provide comprehensive advisory support including due diligence, valuation insights, exit timelines, and liquidity options.
    - Ensure a seamless client experience and offer post-investment support.

  • • Product Development & Research Collaboration:

  • - Collaborate closely with the research and investment teams to evaluate stock opportunities while maintaining regular coordination with senior leadership through sales trackers, updates, and key insights.
    - Contribute to structuring investment products and developing marketing collaterals for investor communication.
    - Stay informed about market developments, valuation trends, and SEBI regulations governing unlisted and private equity markets.

  • • Compliance & Governance:

  • - Uphold adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards.
    - Maintain transparency in communication and documentation with clients and partners.

    Qualifications Required:

  • • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).

  • • 1015 years of experience in private wealth, investment banking, or private equity sales.

  • • Strong network of HNIs, UHNIs, and family offices.

  • • Demonstrated success in deal origination and execution in private market investments.
