About the Role

In the role of Vice President of FP&A & Investor Relations, you will be a key leader within the CFO's office, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer in Mumbai. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the capital markets strategy, including fundraising activities, and manage all aspects of investor relations. This dynamic role will involve moderate domestic and international travel for investor roadshows, conferences, and deal meetings, positioning you at the forefront of the company's financial and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: - Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting - Own annual budgeting, reforecasting, and rolling forecast cycles - Build and validate driver-based budgets with HODs - Track actuals vs budget and drive corrective actions
- Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis

  • Management Reporting, Decision Support Analytics, and MIS - Own monthly MIS and management dashboards

  • - Convert data into actionable insights
    - Conduct deep-dive profitability and cost analysis

  • Fundraising & Capital Raising - Lead end-to-end capital raising across equity, debt, and hybrid

  • - Build and maintain investor pipeline, cultivating key relationships
    - Manage CRM and deal pipeline to track fundraising workstreams
    - Build and manage virtual data rooms for due diligence
    - Work with counsel on term sheets and investment agreements

  • Investor Relations & Storytelling - Craft and refine the company's investment thesis and equity story

  • - Build and maintain investor decks, summaries, and other materials
    - Plan and execute domestic and international investor roadshows
    - Produce and distribute quarterly investor updates and KPI dashboards

  • Digital Transformation & Process Improvement - Drive digital transformation of departmental processes for enhanced efficiency, TAT, quality, and business impact
  • Cross-Functional Coordination - Act as the hub for all capital markets matters

  • - Track and report on financial covenants and compliance requirements
    - Support board-level actions related to capital raises and ESOP
    - Hire, mentor, and build the Capital Markets & IR function

  • Strategic & Ad-hoc Projects - Execute strategic initiatives sponsored by SVP

  • - Support business cases and investment evaluations
    - Own complex analyses through closure

  • Team Leadership - Lead and mentor the team

  • - Set quality standards and build financial domain depth
